The City of Madera is hiring an entry-level Water System Worker I to help maintain safe and reliable water delivery. You will perform semiskilled and skilled duties in testing, cleaning, maintenance, inspection, repair, installation and operation of water systems under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a California driver’s license, and a Grade I Water Distribution Operator Certificate.

Formación

• One year of full-time experience in testing, cleaning, maintenance, inspection, repair, installation, distribution and operation of water systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver’s license or equivalent license from another issuing government entity.
• Grade I Water Distribution Operator Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in testing, cleaning, maintenance, inspection, repair, installation and operation of water systems.
• Support surface and groundwater treatment, distribution, construction and operation of water system infrastructures.
