Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® in Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to support emergency cleanup and disaster recovery tasks, following work orders from the Lead Technician.

You will perform water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation, operate air movers and dehumidifiers, and work with a team to complete assignments safely and efficiently. The franchise location handles hiring decisions and onboarding for new associates.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to work within a team
• Takes instruction and stays on task
• Follows company guidelines and standards
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Can read and follow product label usage instructions
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform

Responsibilities

• Performs water, fire, smoke damage and mold remediation per supervisor, including water extraction and cleanup
• Sets up and monitors air movers and dehumidifiers
• May perform other cleaning duties during mitigation/restoration
• Reports any equipment malfunctions to supervisor
• Reports any customer problems or damage to supervisor
• Completes tasks according to company processes with quality control
