Job summary

Arcadis, the world’s leading design, engineering and consultancy, is seeking a Water Engineer to join our Rhode Island team. You’ll support water, wastewater and stormwater projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and interact with clients while developing technical capabilities.

The role requires a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and familiarity with CAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and water modelling tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, EPANET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience at a design or consulting firm or municipal environment preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD, AutoCAD, and Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and support water/wastewater/stormwater projects.
• Fieldwork: site visits, water quality analyses, sampling, flow monitoring.
• Assist in project management: scopes, budgets, client deliverables.
• Utilize digital tools to boost collaboration (SharePoint, BIM, PowerBI, AR).
• Prepare reports and communicate with clients.
