The Richmond, VA team is looking for dedicated, creative, and energetic candidates interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water issues like quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience. Collaborating with our experienced water professionals, you will support and drive the development of projects, interact and work with clients, and develop your technical capabilities.
The role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. We’re addressing climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biodiversity, with increasing frequency of large-scale events like floods and wildfires. Our mission is to protect natural water resources and support sustainable development.
As an Entry Level Water Engineer, you will be involved in evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities. Your support will include project management activities. You will also contribute to sustainability and resilience projects by conducting vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities.
In the field, you will perform site visits, water sampling, analyze water quality, evaluate technologies, troubleshoot processes, and optimize plant operations. Your expertise will be essential in gathering critical data and ensuring the efficient functioning of water systems.
You will support Asset Management projects by utilizing data analytics, conducting condition assessments, and evaluating the performance of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities, contributing to improved asset management strategies.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid parental leave, PTO, holidays, and optional benefits. The salary range is $52,000 - $89,700 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
