Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) is seeking an Engineer I to assist with engineering system design under close supervision, contributing to multiple projects from calculations to cost estimates and deliverable drawings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-1 year experience or EIT. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks is preferred; expect interaction with staff, officials, and contractors, with limited client-facing duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 0-1 year experience or EIT preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks or discipline-specific software.

Responsabilités

• Assist with engineering system design across multiple projects.
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, cost estimates, reports and permits.
• Collect data and perform basic analyses; may prepare drawings/visual aids.
• Participate in meetings to ensure code compliance and site reviews.
• Interact with staff and contractors; limited client-facing duties.
