Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our Rye Brook, NY wastewater team. You will gain hands-on experience with wastewater collection systems, infrastructure assessment, and rehabilitation projects while working with experienced engineers and scientists.

You will participate in field investigations, data collection, and design support, contributing to projects across Westchester County.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in civil, environmental, wastewater, or related engineering fields.
• Interest in hands-on field work supporting wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Westchester County and the surrounding region.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participation in field investigations, data collection, and condition assessments of wastewater collection system infrastructure.
• Review CCTV inspection data, field reports, utility records, and asset information.
• Support planning, design, rehabilitation, and construction oversight of wastewater collection and treatment projects.
• Assist with data analysis, technical evaluations, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with project team members, municipal clients, contractors, and operations staff.
