Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an entry-level warehouse associate responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse. You will assist in loading, unloading, and moving products by hand or with carts, pallets, and jacks, following safety guidelines.

You will count and record quantities, verify material descriptions, and ensure correct labeling and packaging for safe transportation within storage areas.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; no experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
• Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities for inventory transactions.
• Identify materials moved and match descriptions on associated documentation.
• Ensure labeling disciplines are followed and product numbers are up to date.
• Ensure bulk packed materials are properly boxed, taped, wrapped or prepared for safe transport.
• Locate, label and pick materials listed on printed pick lists.
