Tennant Company is seeking an entry level Material Handler in Louisville, KY. You will operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to support production lines, ensuring accurate delivery of parts and inventory control.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience. Proficiency with SAP, RF devices, and warehouse management is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years related experience as a Material Handler.
• Competent in the operation of a fork truck.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in SAP, RF Device, and Warehouse Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered forklift trucks, hoists, handcarts, and other material handling equipment to maintain workflow and the organization of material.
• Use production paperwork to locate, deliver and place materials in a warehouse environment.
• Maintain equipment in good operating order, follow power industrial equipment guidelines and complete start-of-shift inspection checklist.
• Perform low amount of troubleshooting and adjustment to complete assigned tasks.
• Understand and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized.
• Identify problems or potential safety hazards and recommend resolutions.
