Job summary

Medical Devices Company in Madison, GA is seeking an Entry Level Warehouse/Material Handler for a 12-month contract. The role runs on an every-other-Thursday and Fri-Sun schedule, 6am-6:30pm, totaling about 40 hours per week.

Primary duties include receiving, verifying, stacking, and preparing outbound shipments, with safety and accuracy as priorities. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of material handling equipment experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and procedures.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Exercise safe lifting techniques.
• Accept materials from other divisions for sterilization.
• Verify catalog numbers, lot numbers, quantities and expiration dates.
• Complete JD Edwards transactions to receive product into Regional Sterilization.
• Assemble/build sterilization loads according to pallet diagrams.
• Locate materials into pallet/BIN locations.
• Operate inventory control system, where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, compliant work area.
