Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an entry level Warehouse Associate to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. Starting at $18/hr or more with experience, schedule M-F 7am-4pm.

You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare orders, use RF devices, receive and stock material, and keep the facility safe and clean. This role requires 0-3 years of warehouse experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid state license; pre-employment drug and background screening apply.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and accident free.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage (safety harness up to 400 lbs).
• May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities.
