Job summary

The Crimson Group is seeking an Entry-Level Valve Services Technician to learn inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of pressure relief valves and related equipment. You will gain hands-on experience in both our shop and at customer sites, collaborating with senior technicians and field teams.

This role offers exposure to valve service equipment, on-the-job training, and opportunities to grow within the organization. Local travel to client sites is involved as part of field service work.

Qualifications

• Experience with pressure relief valves, mechanical equipment, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards, and technical instructions.
• Willingness to learn valve testing, calibration, and repair techniques.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of relief valves and pressure control equipment.
• Perform valve disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly according to company procedures.
• Support valve calibration and testing to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and testing records.
• Assist with troubleshooting valve performance issues and identifying repair needs.
• Prepare valves and components for service in both shop and field environments.
• Follow all safety procedures in shop or field settings.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Collaborate with senior technicians, coordinators, and operations teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Travel occasionally to client sites to assist with field service work.
