Job summary

Milwaukee Valve Company, LLC is seeking entry level Assembly Laborers for our New Berlin, WI location (Dept. 520). The starting wage is $21.15 per hour. Responsibilities include operating assembly machines to produce various valves, with occasional material handling and stocking at the machine.

Hours are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be possible or required, with overtime shift adjustments as needed. Company offers an extensive benefits package after hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math for basic calculations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines to produce valves using tools and fixtures.
• Learn setup and tear down for job changeovers with assistance.
• Disassemble and repair products as needed.
• Handle materials and stock components at the machine.
• Use hoist and other lifting equipment and maintain safety.
