Job summary

Brevard County is seeking an entry-level worker for the Utility Services Department to perform maintenance, construction, and repair of utility mains and facilities.

Work is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with standby, overtime, and holidays as needed. Training is provided on the job; position offers growth within a career ladder and requires a valid Florida driver’s license and ability to use PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent as required by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
• Experience in repair and maintenance of utilities distribution and collection facilities is preferred.
