Job summary

Teal Drones in Utah is seeking an entry-level Production Flight Test Level 1 technician to support testing, evaluation and demonstration of sUAS platforms. You will work with manufacturing, engineering and pilots to ensure UAS systems meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include pre-flight checks, data recording, analysis, and communicating improvements. FAA Part 107 certification and 25 PIC hours are required, with readiness to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years drone industry experience.
• 25 documented PIC hours.
• Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-flight inspections and maintenance checks on UAS equipment.
• Conduct flight testing to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety per QA steps.
• Record and analyze flight data (logs, sensor data, photos, video).
• Communicate findings to engineers and stakeholders to improve UAS systems.
• Ensure operations comply with FAA regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in development of new UAS systems and processes.
