Greif, Inc. in Meridian, MS is seeking a Core/Tube Cutting Machine Operator to perform entry-level machine operation and setup tasks. You will read specs, set up equipment, and operate production machinery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires reading a tape measure, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following 5S practices. Weekdays 7:00am–3:30pm, steel-toe shoes required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads a tape measure and follows specifications precisely.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Operates routine production machinery per prints and specs.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools to ensure tolerances.
• Maintains logs/records of units produced and reports errors.
• Inspects equipment prior to use and performs basic adjustments/maintenance.
• Keeps a clean, safe, and orderly work area following 5S standards.
