Job summary

84 Lumber Company is hiring an entry-level truss builder to assemble roof and floor trusses in an indoor manufacturing facility. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and operate hand and power tools to produce components to spec.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Shifts start early, with competitive pay of $18 per hour and comprehensive benefits after 60 days, plus 401(k) matching and monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses using pre-cut lumber and metal connector plates.
• Read and interpret blueprints or work orders.
• Operate saws and nail guns safely.
• Ensure quality control of assembled trusses.
• Meet daily production quotas in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
