Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to join our field crew. This full-time, non-exempt position provides on-the-job training while performing tree trimming, debris removal, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities include loading trucks, tending to safety, assisting in training new employees, and maintaining tools and work areas. No prior experience required; a high school diploma is preferred; a valid driver's license is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and prepares work area; loads/unloads trucks.
• Safely directs traffic and uses barriers/signs as needed.
• Assists in training new employees.
