Our platform combines dedicated field teams, a 24/7 Remote Operations Center (ROC), and deep operating expertise to reduce operational risk, improve availability, and protect long-term asset value.

Coverage & Territory

This is a traveling role supporting CES's portfolio of utility‑scale BESS sites across Texas. The technician rotates through sites primarily in the Texas Gulf Coast, North, West & South‑Central Texas areas, provides regular support to two sites in North Texas (greater Dallas‑Fort Worth region), and travels to support sites in the region.

Job Description
Multi‑Site Coverage & Travel
  • Rotate through assigned BESS sites across the Texas portfolio, covering scheduled visits and dispatched work
  • Complete site‑specific safety orientation and a hazard assessment on arrival at each site before beginning any work
  • Serve as the on‑site presence for sites without dedicated staff, and travel to support CES sites in the region as needed, including overnight travel
  • Support efficient planning, site routing and access coordination, shutdowns, and outage timing with the ROC, field leadership, the client and other entities as needed/required
  • Support other sites across the CES O&M portfolio, as the dedicated traveling O&M BESS Technician.
Preventive Maintenance
  • Execute scheduled PM checks across battery, PCS / inverter, and balance‑of‑plant per OEM requirements and CES procedures
  • Perform module and rack inspections, BMS checks, thermal management, DC/AC electrical inspections, and consumable / filter replacement
  • Verify equipment is de‑energized and apply proper lockout/tagout (LOTO), test‑before‑touch verification, and protective grounding before working on DC, AC, or MV/HV circuits
  • Medium‑voltage / collector PM: transformer checks, torque checks, and cable‑termination inspections

  • Manage on‑site spare parts and consumables as applicable to each site
  • Produce a clear daily field report of the full day's work; sites visited, tasks completed, findings, parts used, follow‑ups, and hours plus monthly reporting inputs, and provide status updates to the ROC, field leadership and owners as required
