Job summary

HTU is seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to transportation design and highway projects. You will collaborate with a team to develop solutions, perform highway design tasks, and conduct traffic design and analysis.

The role includes drainage design, traffic control plans, and preparing preliminary/final design documents, along with estimating construction costs for engineering projects. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of professional transportation engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD / Civil3D, InRoads and HydroCAD is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in office or virtual environments.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and committed.
• Strong computer skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base salary range: $81,000 to $83,000, determined by factors such as location, experience, and credentials
