Job summary

AWP Safety in the United States is seeking a Protector to support traffic control at job sites. No experience or degree is required; training is provided. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety rules.

You may work outside year-round in all weather, with shifts that can include nights or weekends. We provide safety gear and paid training; growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Lift 40-50 pounds as part of duties.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible schedule; weekend or night shifts possible.
• Safety-focused with strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take traffic control equipment down.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training and stay alert around traffic.
• Communicate clearly with crew and supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Work outside year-round in all weather conditions.
• Be prepared for night shifts, weekends, or emergency work as needed.
