Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Traffic Engineer (Hybrid) based in Middleton, Wisconsin to join our traffic engineering team. You will conduct traffic analyses, perform fieldwork, and prepare reports under supervision, contributing to transportation solutions for communities.

The role requires a BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field, an Engineer-in-Training candidacy (or ability to obtain), and experience with traffic projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Engineer-in-Training certification (or ability to obtain).
• Relevant co-op/internship experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience with traffic engineering or transportation planning projects for WisDOT, municipalities, and/or other transportation agencies.
• Experience with software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, IHSDM or similar tools.
• Familiarity with the HCM, HSM, WisDOT FDM, and/or WisTransPortal system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with traffic engineering or transportation planning projects for WisDOT, municipalities, and/or other transportation agencies.
• Experience with software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, IHSDM or similar tools.
• Familiarity with the HCM, HSM, WisDOT FDM, and/or WisTransPortal system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
