Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Credit Monitoring, Trade Finance, Letters of Credit, or Banking Operations preferred; open to new graduates with related internships.
• Strong understanding of Standby Letters of Credit and credit life cycle.
• Ability to interpret legal documents, procedures, and credit approvals accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process the complete lifecycle of Standby Letters of Credit (issuance, amendments, extensions, transfers, cancellations, drawings, billing).
• Review customer documentation for completeness and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Validate LC applications, supporting documentation, collateral arrangements, and approval conditions.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Trade Finance teams to facilitate timely LC processing.
• Ensure transactions comply with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and internal controls (UCP 600, ISP98, OFAC, KYC).
• Support credit facility setup, maintenance, and monitoring; coordinate collateral reviews.
