Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Background Investigator for the West Coast. You will conduct comprehensive interviews, review records, and resolve issues to assess suitability and qualifications for national security work.

Training occurs virtually with shadowing from an experienced investigator. You may travel across the U.S. for temporary assignments, typically two weeks per TDY, and must be able to obtain and maintain a T5 clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving and organizing work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation.
• Strong sense of mission in supporting national security initiatives.
• Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to navigate multiple technology systems to maintain workflow.
• Current driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally.
• Home office within reasonable distance to workload with reliable internet ($50 stipend).
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to present clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, and references; review records to establish qualifications.
• Resolve material issues in a case to determine background and suitability.
• Travel to locations across the U.S. for temporary duties, typically two weeks.
