Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an entry level Tool Maker to join our on-site team in Mauston, WI. You will read blueprints, set up and operate machine tools, and manufacture cold heading tooling while collaborating with engineers and production staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining tooling quality, measuring with precision instruments, and assisting in tooling development. Training is available for right candidates, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years machining experience or related training preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate dies and precision parts.
• Read blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings for specs and tolerances.
• Measure dimensions with micrometers and calipers, verify with gauges.
• Assemble and test tooling to ensure quality and performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe toolroom and assist tooling development.
