Job summary

Tire Discounters in Richmond, VA is hiring an Entry Level Tire Technician. You'll replace, repair, and rotate tires, with hands-on training to build skills for advanced roles.

You will install tires, operate balancers and tire machines, complete work orders, keep the shop organized, assist customers and co-workers, and promote safety. Authorized to work in the USA; pay $14.00–$16.00 per hour, plus overtime and weekly commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Service-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team collaboration and ability to follow instructions.
• Stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Available to work Saturdays.
• Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
• Comfortable with occasional mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair tires.
• Operate balancers and tire machines.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain and organize the shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by meeting the customers' needs.
• Promote a safe and collaborative work environment.
