Job summary

National Wrecker Service in Portsmouth, NH seeks an Entry-Level Tire Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers starting pay of $22.00/hour, with opportunities to increase based on qualifications, and includes comprehensive benefits.

You’ll perform tire mounting, balancing, and roadside assistance tasks, learn shop operations, and grow with a family-owned company that values reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT medical card required.
• Able to regularly lift 50–100 lbs.
• Willing and able to work weekends and evenings when needed.

Responsibilities

• Working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Performing weekend and after-hours work as needed.
• Operating tire machines, balancers, jacks, and roadside equipment.
• Traveling to broken-down commercial vehicles to provide roadside assistance, including changing, replacing, and repairing tires.
• Working in our shop to mount, dismount, and balance commercial tires.
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring we don't run out of tires.
• Keeping the truck fleet and equipment in peak operating condition.
• Helping with additional duties as assigned, including organizing the shop and yard.

• Valid driver's license
• DOT medical card
• Physical ability to regularly lift 50–100 lbs.
