We are hiring Entry-level Tier 1 Help Desk Support Specialists in Huntsville, AL, to support a major law enforcement agency. The role involves providing Tier 1 support for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware to approximately 50,000 users supporting national security missions.

Responsibilities

Qualified candidates will be trained to:

  • Provide IT support via multiple channels
  • Document and escalate tickets appropriately
  • Triage and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage password resets and software installations
  • Assist users remotely and provide status updates
  • Offer guidance to resolve and prevent issues
  • Generate diagnostic summaries and communicate effectively with management
Required Skills
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and onsite in Huntsville, AL
  • 0-4 years’ experience in help desk or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt
  • Bachelor's Degree, relevant experience, or certifications
Physical Requirements
  • Sedentary work with sitting up to 8 hours
