Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Technician I to support telecommunications installations, build-outs, and maintenance. You will work on structures, cables, and data centers to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers.

The role requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to follow Foreman guidance while meeting project budgets and schedules. Training will be provided; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years Telecommunications experience
• High school diploma, GED, or related trade school education
• Valid driver’s license preferred with driving record meeting company requirements

Responsibilities

• Working on communications equipment and projects, including installing, testing and repairing structures and equipment
• Take direction from crew Foreman, ensuring safety, quality, budget and timelines
• Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build and assemble materials
• Help supervise tracking of on-site inventory and materials
• Perform inspections, inventories, and audits as needed
• Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per timelines
• Assist training crew members on safety and quality standards
• Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed
