Ed Morse is currently seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
• Sell lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience and awareness of the latest automotive technologies; persistent problem solver.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining high customer service standards.
• Willing to submit to a background check, DMV screening, and drug test.
