*Training is held in Atlanta, GA starting September 2nd & housing is provided for those not in the Atlanta area.*

Through the Acadomi, we are growing our organization and providing hands-on training, mentorships, and growth opportunities within our company. Recent Graduate candidates will work full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. After completing the program, you will hit the market in either our Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Chicago, DMV, or Dallas office. Think you might be a fit? Apply today and let’s find out together!

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in an informative 3-month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to boost your career in IT recruiting.
  2. Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
  3. Gain experience cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business.
  4. Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role.

What does a Technical Recruiter do for Optomi?

  1. Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment in the market.
  2. Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates' technical experience to see if they are a match for job openings.
  3. Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidates' top skills for clients to review.
  4. Prepare candidates for phone and in-person interviews by having in-depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios, and technical experience that may be asked by clients.
  5. Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for both consultants and clients.
  6. Gather and prepare all onboarding paperwork for candidates after offer/acceptance stage.
  7. Continue to stay connected with consultants through happy hours, in-person meetings, coffees, etc. to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.
  8. Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs.
