Hiring For The Mohegan Lake Location (Inside Walmart):

• Evening shift (1:00pm - 6:00pm)
• Alternate Saturdays (10:00am - 6:00pm)

What you'll do here:

As a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer, you will guide, explain, prepare, and complete accurate tax forms for clients, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end forms, and provide IRS audit support. You will also handle E-filing, provide printed copies for review, and ensure proper signing and submission of returns.

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare accurate tax returns.
• Support business growth and client retention by offering additional products/services.
• Assist clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete tax forms in compliance with policies, legislation, and regulations.
• Process client payments and deposits timely.
• Engage in marketing and business development efforts.
• Provide clients with information and advice for correct tax filing.
• Answer client calls via our call center.
• Offer future tax planning advice.
• Resolve client issues or escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support office priorities.
