Job summary

Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) Ambler is seeking an engineer/designer to design and program SCADA and PLC-based control systems, draft wiring diagrams in AutoCAD, and assist with field wiring concepts. You will collaborate with clients, sales teams, and engineers to coordinate project designs and ensure successful implementation across projects.

The role expects strong communication skills, a BS in a related field, and 1+ years in systems integration or 2+ years as a Controls Designer.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a systems integration role or 2+ years as a Controls Designer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and programming of SCADA systems.
• Design and programming of PLC-based control systems.
• CAD drafting in AutoCAD.
• Create point-to-point wiring diagrams.
• Assist engineering with control wiring concepts.
• Maintain SCADA systems in the field.
• Coordinate project designs with clients, sales, managers, and engineers.
• Attend job meetings and training as required.
