Job summary

SAIC in Panama City Beach, Florida seeks a Systems Engineer Associate to join our on-site team supporting Navy programs. This entry-level role offers exposure to the full systems engineering lifecycle and opportunities for professional development.

You will work with cross-functional teams to document requirements, analyze system interfaces, and support verification and validation activities, gaining hands-on experience in real-time, safety-critical environments.

Qualifications

Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles.
Experience with MBSE tools or modeling languages is a plus.
Familiarity with requirements management, verification and validation practices.
Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

Support development and documentation of system requirements using DE/MBSE concepts.
Perform requirements analysis and interface definition for complex hardware/software systems.
Support ICDs/IRS for multi-subsystem architectures including embedded computing and networking.
Collaborate with team to ensure components integrate into larger architecture.
Assist with V&V planning, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
