Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction in York, PA is seeking an entry-level Technician I to support testing on decking, railing, fencing, wall panels and related products within the Structural Systems Testing group. The technician will manage projects, coordinate test schedules, document data, and communicate with clients with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical field preferred or related experience.
• Ability to understand test procedures, specifications and results.
• Familiarity with QA/testing standards and building codes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for assigned projects.
• Manage all assigned jobs through Oasis (progress, notifications, data, reporting, closure).
• Coordinate test schedule with equipment and other departments.
• Check calibration status of test equipment before testing.
• Analyze test results and write concise test reports.
• Communicate with clients regarding test prep, procedures and results
• Other duties as assigned
