Job summary

MSA Professional Services is seeking a Graduate Engineer - Structural to join our growing structural team in Madison. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate passionate about public infrastructure and community-focused facilities.

You will learn from experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing from concept through construction while building a solid technical foundation and pursuing licensure goals such as EIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from ABET-accredited program.
• Foundational understanding of structural engineering principles and building systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with structural analysis, BIM, or CADD software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and analysis of buildings and infrastructure.
• Support municipal facilities, water/wastewater, waterfront, parks, and storage structures projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop construction documents under licensed engineers.
• Use structural analysis, BIM/CADD platforms to support project delivery.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and studies.
