Role Summary:

Steere is seeking an entry level Structural Engineer with 0-2 years’ experience to join our Bridge/Structures Group and assist with structural projects throughout New England. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s (preferred) degree in Civil engineering with a concentration in Structures, as well as a willingness to learn and a desire to work on challenging projects.

Typical Duties:

• Structural analysis and design
• Contract document preparation including, specifications, and estimates
• Participation in meetings with clients and project team members
• Checking and quality review of structural calculations and contract documents

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science from an ABET accredited University specializing in structural engineering, Master of Science preferred
• EIT preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with structural analysis software such as SAP, CSI Bridge, or similar
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Desire to learn and work in a team environment
