SRF Consulting Group, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our growing Structures group. The role focuses on in-state transportation projects and supporting the structural team on Midwest assignments, handling design, load ratings, and inspections.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in civil engineering, 0–2 years’ experience, and EIT or ability to obtain within six months; strong communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering.

• EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and preparation of Contract Documents.
• Construction administration and periodic field inspections.
• Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel required.
• Ensure SRF’s QC/QA procedures are maintained for all work.
• Additional duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our growing Structures group in our Minneapolis, MN office. The position would primarily focus on in-state transportation projects but would also assist our structural team on a variety of projects throughout the Midwest. Typical projects would involve design, load ratings and/or inspection of bridges, retaining walls and culverts/tunnels.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. in civil engineering from an accredited school with an emphasis in structural engineering; master’s degree is a plus.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

Salary: $80,500

Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
