Job summary

Henneman Engineering Inc. – Industrial Technology Group (ITG) seeks an entry‑level Structural Engineer to join our Champaign, IL office on site. You will contribute to design and engineering of structural systems for projects across manufacturing, food processing, and energy sectors.

Entry‑Level Structural Engineer

Henneman Engineering Inc.-Industrial Technology Group (ITG) offers comprehensive engineering solutions in heavy manufacturing, food production, chemical processing, consumer products, energy, and renewable energy. We specialize in electrical, mechanical, chemical, process, controls, plumbing, and structural engineering.

ITG provides innovative, cost‑effective, and quality engineering solutions responsive to client needs in a professional and profitable manner. This position is located in our Champaign, IL office and is performed on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Participate in overall design and engineering of structural systems for projects throughout the construction phase.
• Visit job sites to conduct structural inspections, verifications, and progress evaluations.
• Coordinate system layout and drawings with other disciplines as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Prepare contract documents, technical specifications, reports, structural cost estimates, and other relevant documents.
• Review and act upon RFIs, submittals, and other construction‑related documents.
