Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in CAD/Drafting Technology or related field is required.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and familiarity with design documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team across disciplines.
• Commitment to timely completion of assignments and continuous improvement.
• US citizenship with badge-access documentation; able to pass security checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular project status updates to the Lead Designer and report deviations.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant national and local engineering codes.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with team members on tasks.
• Review designs for consistency, safety, operability, and maintenance needs.
• Develop and navigate 3D models from drawings and sketches, check interferences.
• Create detailed plan, general arrangement, and plot plan drawings with as-builts.
• Support project development by completing tasks and creating guidelines or checklists.
• Contribute to lessons learned and resolve comments on drawings for improvement.
• Gather information needed for accurate drawing development.
