Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join our transportation group in Mechanicsburg, PA or Canonsburg, PA. This role offers strong growth opportunities and a chance to work on challenging transportation projects using the latest technology.

The position supports design of horizontal/vertical alignments, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and traffic scheme development, for a variety of clients. Collaboration with an experienced team is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• 0-2 years experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• FE is preferred.

Responsibilities

The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, development of maintenance and protection of traffic schemes, and preparation of contract plans for a variety of project types and clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with Structural Engineering emphasis)
