Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks a Stress Analyst Engineer I in Appleton, WI to perform structural analyses for interior furnishings and amenities on new aircraft. You will review models and drawings, create load calculations, develop FEMs and write stress reports with the Structural Engineering group.

Ideal candidates have entry-level stress analysis experience, familiarity with CATIA V5 and FEMAP/NASTRAN, and the ability to work under guidance to meet schedules and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Candidates should have stress analysis experience, preferably in an aircraft OEM Completions environment.
• Experience with CATIA V5 CAD and FEA with FEMAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete discrete tasks on schedule.
• Apply engineering knowledge to resolve routine issues using company procedures.
• Analyze and evaluate results of project activities; prepare change recommendations.
• Compile reports for supervision and ensure actions are documented.
