Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with CPA eligibility.
• Less than one year of experience — perfect for new or soon‑to‑be graduates.
• Actively pursuing, or eligible to sit for, the CPA exam.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a tech‑savvy mindset to quickly pick up new software, including audit and tax platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a high level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare detailed audit workpapers and maintain organized documentation to support audit findings and conclusions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax professionals and advisory specialists, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
• Assisting and preparing tax returns for both individuals and various business entities, including federal, state and local tax returns
• Communicate with clients to gather information and answer basic inquiries
• Stay current on federal and state tax law changes
