Job summary

Moss is hiring team members to perform tasks on utility-scale solar projects in Florida. This outdoor position requires working outside in all weather, standing/walking for long periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy materials.

No experience is necessary, and pay starts at $20 per hour, with growth opportunities toward a long-term career in the clean energy sector. Candidates should be prepared for extended shifts, potential overtime, and weekend work.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willing to learn on-site.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of how to be successful and safe on Solar projects.
• Operate hand tools including tape measure, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders and rakes.
• Provide general labor duties in the field on Solar project sites.
• May perform as a Millwright, Solar PV Installer or Quality Control Representative.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
• Extended hours of work may occur, with a shift lasting up to 12 hours.
• Overtime and work on weekends and holidays may be required.
