Job summary

TGW Logistics is seeking an entry-level Software Test Engineer I to support a team of software engineers in testing, commissioning, and ongoing support of TGW software solutions. You will write C# and Java code to meet testing specs, execute unit/integration tests, and assist in functional tests with an equipment emulation model.

The role involves onsite software solution commissioning as needed, startup and post-implementation support, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• Some internship or hands-on software testing experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for domestic and international travel.
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, NetBeans.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design, source control and test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Writes C# and Java code to meet functional testing specifications.
• Executes unit and integration test plans.
• Participates in software functional tests using an equipment emulation model.
• Supports onsite commissioning of software solutions as needed.
• Provides startup and post-implementation support and participates in on-call rotation for 24/7 technical support.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
