Job summary

IBM Software is seeking early career Software Developers to join product engineering teams across back-end, front-end, and full-stack areas. In this role, you will help design, build, and deliver modern, cloud-ready software that powers AI-enabled and hybrid cloud solutions.

You will work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to create high quality, scalable features that support both our users and our business.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/C++).
• Understanding of software development fundamentals including version control and testing.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, APIs, or container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and maintenance of software components.
• Build back-end services, APIs, or data workflows using Python/Java or similar.
• Develop user interfaces using modern frameworks like React.
• Work with containerized applications and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply debugging techniques and testing practices to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Learn and explore emerging technologies, including AI/LLM-based components and cloud-native tools.
