Job summary

Speria is seeking an early-career software engineer in Atlanta to contribute to real-world production software powering live animal protein operations. You'll learn from experienced engineers, gain ownership, and build features across web, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud services.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS or related field, familiarity with modern languages, Git, and a collaborative mindset. You will participate in code reviews, testing, and agile planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent project experience.
• Foundational proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with Git and web development basics.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical project experience
• Foundational proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another modern programming language
• Understanding of programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Familiarity with Git and an interest in testing, APIs, databases, web development, or cloud technology
• Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a willingness to learn
• Bonus, not required: internship, capstone, open-source, GitHub, or personal project experience
