Job summary

WME Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build next-gen internal platforms powering a leading entertainment company. You will own features end-to-end, shape architecture, and raise the technical bar.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development and modern tooling while navigating a scrappy environment. Responsibilities include building CRM-enabled workflows, APIs, and scalable web apps, migrating legacy systems, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Backend experience with Node.js, building services and APIs.
• Experience designing and working with PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
• Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Use of modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Terraform, and containerized deployments.
• Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to keep shipping fast and safe.
• Leverage AI-assisted development across the engineering workflow.

Senior Software Engineer

WME is building the next generation of internal platforms that power one of the world's leading entertainment companies.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving hard problems, writing clean and maintainable code, and building systems that become foundational to how an organization operates. The software we build helps agents and teams manage relationships, deals, and opportunities across the global entertainment industry.

You’ll take ownership of features and services end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions, and help raise the technical bar across the team.

We're also investing heavily in AI-assisted development, and engineers on this team actively use modern AI tools and workflows to improve development velocity and product quality. We're building this engineering organization largely from the ground up, so we're looking for engineers who enjoy scrappy environments, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and want to help shape how a team operates.

Responsibilities

• Building features that capture and connect relationships across the entertainment industry
• Implementing modern CRM workflows that replace fragmented legacy tools and spreadsheets

Qualifications & Experience

• Solid software engineering experience, typically 5+ years
• Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications
• Proficiency in React , TypeScript , and Next.js
• Backend experience with Node.js , building services and APIs
• Experience designing and working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure ( AWS or Azure preferred)
• Comfort working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Ship practical software that solves real problems
• Use modern cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure), Terraform, and containerized deployments
• Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to keep shipping fast and safe
• Leverage AI-assisted development across the engineering workflow

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

150,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds) Hiring Rate Maximum:
$200,000 annually
