Job summary

Seal Dynamics (A HEICO Company) in Hauppauge, NY is hiring an entry-level software developer to build and maintain SQL, C#/.NET, REST APIs, and Python tooling across ERP, eCommerce, and warehouse systems. You’ll work on AI integration and containerized environments as part of an enterprise stack.

This on-site role offers end-to-end exposure across purchasing, warehouse, sales, and finance, with a 9/80 schedule after introductory period and visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• You can write a multi-table join, understand indexing, and know why SELECT * in production is a bad habit.
• Familiarity with at least one object-oriented language (C# preferred; Java, Python, or VB.NET ok).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs: requests, responses, JSON, status codes, authentication.
• Basic familiarity with source control (Git/GitHub).
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to ask non-technical colleagues the right questions.
• Curiosity and initiative: you research before escalating and flag problems early.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and tune T-SQL queries against ERP databases.
• Build and maintain C#/.NET applications and services.
• Build and consume REST APIs for core business integrations.
• Work on AI integration efforts connecting LLM APIs to business data.
• Write Python for data work, automation, and tooling.
• Support and enhance internal web applications.
• Work in containerized development and deployment environments.
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and finance to define needs.
• Follow source control, code review, and change management practices.
