Job summary

fei is seeking an entry-level SMT assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team in a hands-on role. You will assemble and inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and operate basic production equipment with on-the-job training provided.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, good manual dexterity, and the ability to read technical documents. This onsite position offers health benefits and opportunities to advance into SMT machine operation or manufacturing support.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Strong computer and written skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work with small electronic components.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Experience with Hi-Rel or relative environments is a plus.
Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
Great communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and familiarity with electronic components.
Basic soldering experience is a plus but not required.
Willing to learn new skills through training.

Responsibilities

Assemble PCBAs and perform inspections.
Operate basic production equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.
Maintain workspace cleanliness and safety on the line.
Learn SMT machine operation and inspection processes through on-the-job training.
