Job summary
IBM Rochester is seeking an entry-level Site Reliability Engineer to help maintain enterprise IT systems, automate tasks, and contribute to reliability initiatives across IBM Cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix/Windows, and networking fundamentals.
- Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and cloud networking.
- Exposure to IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure.
- Certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support enterprise IT systems including servers and VMs.
- Monitor performance and identify reliability issues.
- Assist automation of routine admin tasks.
- Contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Document configurations, procedures, and reliability metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure delivery.
